Dear GIPN members and contacts,
It is with great regret and sadness that the GIPN Board has had to make the very tough decision to cancel our 2021 Educational Conference and reschedule for fall of 2022.
This decision was based on the responses from our member survey and additional input received from many that their facility would not be able to financially support attendance to an in-person conference this year and due to concerns of the unknown. This decision really pulled on the heartstrings of us all. The GIPN Board will be working on plans to provide some alternative education session offerings. Please stay tuned for further information. Please add Georgia Infection Prevention Network <firstname.lastname@example.org> to your address book or safe sender list to ensure you receive our emails.
We are very appreciative of the Brasstown Valley Resort and their willingness to work with us. We are working with them to revise our contract for our conference to be held in 2022.
We are looking forward to connecting with all of you and seeing you in person in 2022!
Wanda Strzemienski RN, CIC
GIPN Board Chairperson
