GIPN 45th ANNUAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE

GIPN’s 45th Education Conference will be held at enchanting Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia!

Pre-conference will be held on September 15th, 2026.

The full conference will occur September 16th - 18th, 2026.

Room reservations for Callaway Gardens Lodge and Spa:

Reservations must be made by the cutoff date of 8/15/26 for the GIPN rate of $205 plus taxes, and fees, including $20 resort fee (reduced from $40) = $264.40/night.

The resort fee includes daily Admission to Callaway Gardens for each person on the reservation, two bottles of Callaway Blue® water, and complimentary wireless internet.

For the GIPN room rate for two nights before or after the event or to reserve a cottage, $325/night plus taxes and fees, based on availability, you must call to make the reservation, and state you are with Georgia Infection Prevention Network (GIPN).

Who we are:

Mission:

The Georgia Infection Prevention Network (GIPN) is a statewide, multi-professional organization whose purpose is to serve the needs and goals common to all disciplines involved in infection prevention, control, and epidemiology activities in Georgia.


Goals:

 The Four Goals of GIPN are to:

  1. Facilitate effective statewide communications and cohesiveness among individuals involved in infection prevention, control, and epidemiology.
  2. Act as a resource for infection prevention, control,and epidemiology needs in Georgia.
  3. Promote standardization of evidence-based infection prevention, control, and epidemiology practices.
  4. Assess and meet the infection prevention, control, and epidemiology education needs of its membership.




Member benefits

Education:  GIPN conducts a cost effective annual conference on infection control and epidemiology - topics of importance to the membership. Other conferences may occur throughout the year to further meet the needs of the membership.

Newsletters:  GIPN publishes a newsletter to communicate information in a timely manner to the members. There is no charge to GIPN members for the newsletter. It includes updates regarding national and state regulations for infection control, as well as news, member updates, and upcoming events. 

Networking:  GIPN provides opportunities for Infection Prevention Professionals to network and share information at the annual conference as well as through district meetings.  GIPN provides meetings/ communications in ten districts in Georgia.  District liaisons are available for consultation.

Dues: Are kept at the low rate of $30.00 annual.
